Electric Chain Hoists
Made in Canada since 1947 these chains hoists are built tough. They have been used in every imaginable industrial lifting and carrying application. They are ideal for individual work stations, used in conjunction with monorails, jib cranes, overhead cranes and others.
These units come standard with DUAL BRAKING SYSTEMS and OIL SEALED TRANSMITTIONS. The frames are made of CAST STEEL. Hooks are forged carbon steel for the 1/4 to 2 1/2 ton capacities and FORGED ALLOY STEEL for 3 tons and over.
More than 88% of the parts are interchangeable in all hoist models. Suspension is available in two configurations, standard hook or eye, fixed or swivel. Since the chain is special alloy, case-hardened steel and precision machined there is less friction and therefore will last longer than other conventional chain hoists. Push button controls are standard 24v and can be waterproofed on request.
Capacities range from 250 lbs up to 7.5 tons, single or dual speeds with electric power varieties to suite your needs. Hoists can be supplied with lifts to suit, chain containers and push/pull or motorized trolleys as required.
These hoists can be delivered to your Toronto area location within one week from order finalization. We also provide our products throughout Canada and to U.S. industries. Installation is very simple and can be accomplished within one hour under normal circumstances.
Electric Wire Rope Hoists
Each hoist is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the Hoist Manufacturers Institute, CSA and other applicable standards for duty cycles typical for general machine shops, fabrication and warehousing. Modulus is offering models and modifications that are available to suit individual operating conditions and environments from standard indoor to outdoor, to hazardous environments. Value and reliability is made possible through the use of time proven serial components. Modular designs facilitate customized solutions of specific applications at reasonable cost.
A wide range of electric motors, control systems and rope reeving methods result in an enpormous variety of capacities, hoist speeds and lifting heights. HOIST MOTORS are rugged construction class F insulated, 60-miute rated duty hoist motors are totally enclosed, fan cooled and provide protection against vapors, dust and abrasives. Built in thermal sensors guard against overheating. The BRAKES are D.C. rectified double sided disc brakes, heavy duty brake coil, premium asbestos free linings for long life and low maintenance. The GEARBOX is totaly enclosed with oil level sight glass, liftime lubricated gear train. Forged alloy gears are helical cut.
